Great musicians and writers come together this weekend to raise funds for three causes:

• Reproductive Justice

• Press Freedom and

• Immigrant Rights

Celebrate freedom, art and the fight for our rights with writers and musicians!  

Extraordinary writers and performers include musical performances by David Gonzalez, Robert Burke Warren, and The Goddess Party, feminist author Jessica Valenti (Abortion: Our Bodies, Their Lives, and the Truths We Use to Win), Ethiopian-American novelist Dinaw Mengestu (Someone Like Us), and author and cultural critic Lucy Sante (I Heard Her Call My Name), Abigail Thomas, Mark Whitaker, Lena Moon, Greg Olear, Cheryl Clarke, Linda Villarosa, Gretchen Primack, Kate Hymes, Beverly Donofrio, Timothy Liu, Nina Shengold, Jana Martin, Lisa A. Phillips, Jai Chakrabarti, and Laura Kaplan.

Inspired by the Writers Resist events in 2017, Writers Resist Revival is a shared affirmation of democratic values and creative resistance. The event promises the spirit of that original celebration — readings, music, and town fair–style fun — amplified for this moment. Get tickets here.
